My review is based off of one month with the replacement cushions from Crandall Office Furniture. I spent over a year being uncomfortable in my chair plus trial and error of cushion pillows. So here you go.Look, I am the biggest skeptic on buying nearly anything that I cannot test in person. I did months of research on seat cushions, pillows, everything; none of it was bad, but it wasn't good either. All the seat pillows are great until they shift around too much and you can't get comfortable enough to stay still. Or at least that was my issue. I sit like 7 different ways and none of them worked for more than an hour. So I finally decided to give Crandall's replacement seats a go. People have mixed reviews, and I understand that, but my first impression was as good as it gets. The package showed up on time, nothing was damaged, customer service was spot on and the replacement process was extremely easy. The cushions themselves are VERY nice. I’m stoked to actually sit at my desk now. The comfort is top tier for me personally.I told the company that I was gonna test it for a while before writing a review. And I NEVER write reviews. It's been a month and I'm just as happy to sit at my desk as I was the first day. The comfort hasn't diminished at all.I don't understand the bad mouthing of the company. The employees there responded within 2 days of every email, sometimes within hours, they answered every question and I was never left confused on anything. I even emailed them months prior just to ask a question, they answered and didn't bother me to "buy this now" or any follow up. They were just casual and kind about it all. I was kind to them as well, so maybe that's why I had a good experience. Take that as you will while you read other reviews...I know this seems like a b-s response full of all the niceties, but it isn't. This is just a satisfied customer that was extremely tired of trying the "band-aid" options to temporarily fix my problem. I bought my Leap V2 at a super discounted price from a kinda sketchy company on eBay (I'm sure you can guess who), received my "open-box" chair and it was great (still is), but the cushions were all but gone. I got both the seat and back replacement cushions from Crandall for $312, they sent back my $100 rebate within a couple weeks (once they received my original parts) and everything went smoothly.The only note I had for them was to clean the build up of dust/debris underneath. The fabric was fantastic and I knew it couldn't be perfect, but from all the nasty reviews people leave, that would help. Me personally, I just wiped it down and didn’t even care, but that’s rare in a world where people complain about everything.Overall? 10/10 experience. Use this at your own discretion. I'm a stranger to you. But I'm one comfortably happy stranger writing this from his chair. Have a good day!

I received a "remanufactured" Steelcase Leap V2 chair, but, given the condition of the item, I could easily have been convinced it was new. The chair is comfortable, well maintained for being a used frame, and provides an experience typically reserved for either large companies who buy swathes of premium chairs for their employee base, or well-off individuals who have 1,000USD + to spend on an office chair. I have enjoyed every second of my experience, and would recommend anyone in need of an ergonomic chair, for therapeutic reasons or otherwise, to consider Crandall's remanufactured products. I'm so glad I stumbled upon Crandall Office Furniture. I was hesitant to spend $300+ on a 20 pound chair with bad reviews - which is essentially every chair out there. After months of indecision and a sore bum, I finally found Crandall. After viewing all the videos I was convinced I needed one of their chairs. The chair arrived a week ago. I LOVE it! Their process produces a clean, brand new looking custom quality chair. Customer service reached out early on to answer a question I had embedded in my order form (which I thought they might miss). I try to practice a "never new" (tm) policy in life but figured I would not be able to follow that path with an office chair. I am so pleased that I could. And, surprisingly, there were 2 significant benefits I haven't heard them tout but think they should. 1. ZERO hardware and ZERO tools required to assemble my chair. This means I can easily take it apart and travel with it! 2. The packing was sturdy and efficient! I live in a very rural area with no trash pick up so extra Styrofoam or excessive packaging is a real PITA. This was simply a large, well made cardboard box with handles and 4 pieces of strapping. Inside were the pieces of the chair and another cardboard box. The pieces were all covered in plastic of course, which I will re-use when I travel with the chair. The non-excessive packaging was the icing on the delicious cake.

Honestly, really nice people, but do be weary of how particular you are with "refurbished". Mine came with rust, scratches (deep scratches) and quite a bit of dust and fingerprints. I expected some scratches, these things are used of course, but I did expect deep cleaning, rusty parts replaced, etc. They did offer a return and replacement, but after about a month of waiting on the chair, it is pretty inconvenient.

I purchased the Leap V2 from Crandall with the new back foam and their new 3d fabric after months of hemming, hawing and researching. Had it for over a week and I love this thing. Currently one of my prized possessions. It was well outside my imagined budget when I started looking for relief from a bout of bursitis in the shoulder which my racer style gaming chair was brutally probing but this chair is well worth the money. The 12 year warranty and other customer reviews sealed the deal. Received well packaged in amazing like new condition. The only thing I could find that may indicate that it wasn't new would be slight scuff marks on the plastic seat pan that which is completely covered. Might seem expensive but not as expensive as doctors and it has a great warranty to protect the investment.

I learned of Crandall Office Furniture while researching my purchase and seeing one of their YouTube videos. Blown away by my experience! Got a Leap V2 from Crandall, and absolutely love it. They didn't have the fabric I wanted in stock when I purchased, but were very quick to contact me, find a suitable replacement, and refund the difference. Assembly and shipping was way faster than I expected too! The Open House fabric I received has been great so far - soft, comfy, stretchy, and seems incredibly durable. Maybe in the future I'll have them re-upholster with their Bioknit stuff if I end up too hot in summer months, but very happy so far.Never thought I'd be writing a review for an office chair, but here we are. I regularly work from home, and this might be the best improvement I've made. Easily worth the premium over all the cheaper chairs I've had over the years, and it's still a bargain compared to the original price of the chair! Will be recommending Crandall to others - 11/10.

Amazing experience at Crandall Office. My chair came a whole week early! Chair felt brand new not a single blemish in sight. I think it was worth the price. I got the leap V2 and the extra cushion on the seat makes the whole chair complete. I was using a $20 chair before this and this chair got rid of the aches in my shoulder blade from the cheap chair.

Bought a chair, got a chair, chair works. Not sure if there is anymore you could ask for. The chair is great and it works just fine. Assembly was pretty easy and their instructions a nice 1 page print out. No complaints, and I would recommend their products/Services. I was a little scared thanks to social media, but David's presence on those apps convinced me you don't need to worry if you're buying from Crandall and the chair has proven that. Love it! I got a Leap v2 if anyone is interested.I will see I have seen David on Redditt answering questions and assisting potential customers while some badmouth Crandalls. I can say, this is my first experience and I plan to buy at least 1 more chair for my son, and I will gladly do that through Crandall when I'm ready. I would definitely recommend them.

I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase from Crandall. The remanufactured chair comes at a good price, and is barely distinguishable from a brand-new model. The warranty is extremely generous, and there are lots of setup videos to help you get started. I also appreciate how much the company jumps into threads on Reddit and similar to answer people's questions. I highly recommend Crandall if you're looking for a chair!

I placed an order over the phone for replacement back and seat for my Steelcase Leap chair V1. The woman who I spoke with was just an order taker and did not advise me that my choice for chair back was not good for that model. I got the items. The seat back had no support and was too stretchy. I felt like I was sitting against cables. When I called to report my dissatisfaction, I was just told no returns, no refunds. A big thumbs down for Crandall 😡

A few years back I purchased a refurbished Steelcase Leap chair but from another company and I had only a few options of chair to choose from which was not a big deal since I wanted black. When I received it, it looked very nice, but the chair had a few signs of previous use - which was not a surprise since it was refurbished. However, this chair looks brand new and I/we (we because I sneakily asked color, fabric, and frame color options) got to choose from SO MANY options AND upgraded options (like the back and seat pad), that's awesome! It was like picking out a brand new chair and for 1/2 the price! The remanufacturing and shipping was very fast as well, I ordered Aug. 24 and it was delivered Sep. 2! Fantastic customer service, I am shocked! I sent an email asking if they were able to sell me a replacement part for a Herman Miller I’d bought on Craigslist. Kim was thorough in helping me diagnose what I needed and offered to send me something to try first prior to making a large purchase for a part.

I recently purchased a refurbished Steelcase 442 Gesture Chair. I ordered on a Thursday evening and the chair was delivered exactly one week later on a Thursday afternoon. It was meticulously packed, packed with a lot of care. The chair looks brand new. No evidence of wear and tear. Love the fabric color I picked and most importantly the chair is very, very comfortable. I upgraded to the roller incline wheels and they are great on my hardwood floor. Absolutely fabulous. Spoke with Steve Crandall who took the time to explain the differences between different quality ergonomic office chairs. Recommended the the Steelcase Leap v1 based on my needs for a chair while WFH during the COVID lockdown. Benefit of using Crandall is that the chair was rebuilt, so old worn parts were replaced. Also I was able to pick a custom fabric which looked better in my 2nd bedroom and a softer seat cushion. Delivery was quick and setup was easy because of included documentation and web support showing how the pieces fit together. Also they have a video on how to uninstall the seat, once it is installed (since that is tricky), in case you need to.

My leap v1 remanufactured chair arrived with a large tear in the box and some components were missing so I messaged them and within 2 days I already had all the missing components mailed to my doorstep. During my use of the chair I noticed there was a lot of squeakiness. I talked back and forth with Crandall about fixes but they offered to replace the chair entirely or give a partial refund. Great company, highly recommend.
