I was very pleased to come across Crandall Office Furniture while I was searching for the chair I wanted! I purchased a Steelcase factory return chair from Crandall Office Furniture. I was leaning toward a remanufactured chair but the factory return price, free shipping, and the Spring discount was too good to pass up. The chair arrived within a week from order. The Steelcase online store was showing a month lead time for the same chair due to COVID supply chain issues. Crandall packed the chair and parts well. The Crandall assembly instructions were easy to follow too. The chair is what I'd expect from a factory return - a few minor scuffs and scratches but nothing visible from a few steps away. I'm happy with the chair and my purchase experience from Crandall. They sent me emails for order confirmation and shipping so I knew where my chair was and when to expect delivery.

I love the Leap v2 chair! I have lower back issues and I spend a lot of time on the computer, so this was a great investment towards my physical health. If refurbbed furniture sales and service were an Olympic sport, Crandall would be the Michael Phelps of that event.I have been wanting a Herman Miller Classic Aeron since I worked at Mindspring yeaaaaaars ago.. cuz they actually cared about their employees and got us GOOD equipment.I finally decided to splurge on a refurb, as I have no interest in the updated Aeron. After much internet browsing and gnashing of teeth, I ran across Crandall. The chair is used, of course, but they replace the casters, the gas cylinder, the arm rests, and the lumbar support with NEW pieces. They have free USA shipping, a 30 day money-back guarantee, AND a 2 year warranty. AND they got the chair to my door within 3 days of ordering it. If that's not enough, my back and leg pain were gone within a month.Just sayin, TL/DR: you could beat Crandall with a stick, but you still won't get a better product for a better price or with better service or shipping anywhere else.

Ordered a Steel Case Gesture from Crandall recently, and I am pretty impressed.Shipping was quick and the package arrived looking like it could have survived dropping in from the atmosphere. Unpacking was quick, set up with the provided instructions was also quick.So far I am loving my new chair, and the fact that I got it for less than half of the MSRP of the chair if it was new, is even better. Also, I was able to get it in a bright blue color, which is for sure a plus for me.I probably won't buy from them again, because I probably won't need to as this chair feels pretty "endgame" as far as chairs are concerned. I sit all day most days out of the week at my desk. If, for some reason I did have to purchase a chair again, I would absolutely go to Crandall.

New Herman Miller Aeron chairs are ridiculously overpriced. I mean, they're just chairs, and a lot of it is plastic. That said, they're comfortable chairs. I got one from Crandall and it was as good as new for half the price. I bought the PostureFit add on, which was worthless. I've already removed it. But that's on me.

Chair arrived is "new" condition .. could not be happier with the condition of the chair. However, I read reviews about the Steelcase Gesture chair as being great, so I ordered that. Not quite as comfortable as an Aeron, so I'm sending it back and on the waiting list for an Aeron from Crandall. The return policy is great and no issues there .. just make sure you save all the packaging material.

Incredible quality of product and service, extremely well-run buying experience. I bought a Steelcase Gesture chair for ~35% off MSRP (>$400 off). Crandall had it as "Grade B," but it could've been called "Like New" anywhere else. Their refurb work is fantastic; the chair maybe has one infinitesimally small cosmetic defect. Their website lists chairs as individual stock units with clear, high-quality photos, so you can go over the exact chair you want to buy with a fine toothed comb. My purchase was seamless, and they expertly package these chairs for delivery.You might, MIGHT be able to get a comparable chair at comparable lower price if you spend hours and hours trawling local office resellers, or haggling with people on Facebook Marketplace. OR you could just order exactly what you want from Crandall. They'll be my first stop for future purchases.

Recently purchased a certified returned Steelcase Series 1 chair. Communication of shipping times and updates was great. Package came in a large box, too large for our old apartment elevator, but it only weighed 45 lbs so it was reasonable to carry upstairs. Packaged very securely with protective plastic and lots of paper insulation. No tools assembly was super easy! I was really happy to find this chair at a discount, with a great warranty, in the colors I wanted, from a US based small business, and to be giving it a new life after someone else returned it. I spent a long time researching chairs and companies. In the end, I'm very happy with the chair and I recommend this company to anyone looking for office furniture.

I ordered a remanufactured Herman Miller Aeron C-size from Crandall. Their price was very fair, and the chair I received appears to be in excellent "like-new" condition. No visible scrapes/scuffs or signs of wear. Shipping was timely, and assembly instructions were very simple and clear. It took less than 5-min to unbox and assemble. Quick review for not only an exceptionally crafted refurbished chair (I'd be fooled to think it was brand new, if not for the extremely minor/insignificant visible wear on the plastic for the base)first of all, they shipped my chair way faster than quoted, excellent turnaround time.chair quality, superb, everything is in perfect working order, the padding is super awesome, and I am much more productive in my nice new (to me) LEAP V1the ONLY complaint I could have is I'm leaning ever so slightly, which feels like I just got unlucky on the seat cushion, because the quality of the rest of the chair is seriously like new. and wouldn't you know it, the reviews for their excellent customer service were all true. I had an email response within FIFTEEN MINUTES you guys, I don't even respond to text messages that fast. and get this, they are shipping me out a new seat cushion and return label to ship back the current one. no teeth-pulling or manager escalating, no waiting on hold for hours, literally just an email saying "hey this feels a little uneven" and BAM they're sending me a new cushion.I genuinely cannot recommend this company enough. my brother sat in my chair and ordered himself a v1 also, my dad sat in it too and said he liked it as much, if not better than the herman miller he has.and I paid SO LITTLE compared to what a new LEAP would cost, you better believe my next chairs will always be leaps from crandall. I could never justify buying a new one ever at this point.hopefully I remember to update this when i get the new cushion. but i probably wont, because ill be too darn comfy.

I recently purchased a Steelcase Leap V2 with the headrest a little over a week ago. The chair arrived on Monday of this week. To my surprise, the chair arrived in absolutely pristine condition. I have purchased brand new chairs that were not in as good of shape as this one. They shipped on time (ok one day late but who cares). The only issue with the chair is that the headrest will not stay up. It falls down immediately. I have not contacted Crandall yet for options on fixing the headrest but from what I have read and considering the condition of the chair I am pretty confident that they will have an acceptable solution.

Mediocre experience at best. Bought two "factory return" V2 leaps from Crandall. First one was supposed to be a "Grade A" chair in "like new" shape. It showed up beat up pretty bad. Scuffs and scratches everywhere. Crandall did offer me 10% off, but we would've rather had a great condition chair. It being a pain to return....we just took the offer they made. With that said, my wife liked the comfort of the Leap V2 so I said..."alright, I'll give them another shot. Can't possibly have another bad experience". Well, we did. I ordered a V2 Leap in stool height. Again, another "factory return grade A" chair. This time....a couple more issues. one..the chair still had some light scuffs on the back and we just noticed that the bottom piece of plastic that covers the frame won't even stay secured to the chair. However, this was a problem we just noticed (the broken plastic, not the scuffs). They shipped the chair with the wrong bolts to attach the chair to the base. The bolts they also shipped required a special tool to install them which they did not include and only found out it was a special tool after multiple visits to hardware stores, Home Depots and Lowes. They ended up shipping me bolts that would work, but the threading into the base was a mess (came that way...not from trying to install the other bolts). No offer to right this chair at all even though they know the struggle was real with this 2nd chair and I had this thing sitting in my living room for about 5 days in pieces waiting for bolts. Lesson learned.....maybe not the best company to deal with. I will say this though, Kim was an absolute pleasure to deal with over there. Very nice and was doing what she could. These are just problems from the top down that she's not really responsible for and was just trying to mend the issue. I'd find another Steelcase dealer if you have the opportunity to.

Perfect transaction, chair Remanufactured but appears new. All new foam and padding. It was boxed perfectly great assembly instructions and a great value. Would certainly do business with this company again. Did research online and if some prices are too good to be true there’s a reason. This company can be recommended without hesitation. Ordered a slightly damaged Steelcase chair for my office. Received chair quickly within several days. Chair had a couple scuffs as advertised but otherwise was in great condition and comfortable. My only issue (albeit a minor one) was the enormous amount of packaging the chair came in. For a company that touts to be 'environmentally-friendly', I found this a bit disappointing. And yes, I know some packaging could be recycled. I just feel like a company that really cares about the environment should try to find better ways to reduce waste generation (if possible).

I liked the range of choices of mesh and seat colors offered for the refurbished Think chairs. I liked the price. I was astounded by the speed with which my chair was fabricated and shipped. For reasons unknown, it arrived missing a necessary bolt and with a cable that controls raising and lowering flapping loose (and impossible for me to put in place). But I liked the speed with which Crandall decided I couldn't fix it, sent out another chair and a return shipping label. I'd say buy your chair here.

These guys are fantastic. Customer service is through the roof. Recently purchased a steel case gesture chair. Not only did the chair arrive well ahead of their estimated arrival date, but the packaging was well done and the instructions it came with were simple.There was one hiccup, but this is where their customer service really shined. The chair was supposed to come with a lumbar support pre-installed, but did not. I reached out to customer service and had a response from them within 24 hours stating there was their mistake. They quickly presented a couple options to make the situation correct, including sending me the appropriate part along with a customized video on how to install it. The part arrived just a couple days later and thanks to their video, was very simple to install.I would definitely recommend them not just for their great products and great prices but for their excellent customer service as well.

I recently purchased a remanufactured Steelcase Leap V2 chair. I wanted something better than the typical $250 - $300 office chairs you find all over the place. I tried them all and just wanted something better with some more adjustability. Now that I have this chair, I wasted my money on the other chairs.I searched around and found Crandell Office that sells these remanufactured chairs and return chairs. It was a toss up between the “official” return chair and the remanufactured, but I decided to save a little and give the remanufactured chair a try. If you watch the wonderful videos that Crandell has made, you will feel very good about what they do to refresh these chairs. I like repurposing too so that is a major plus.When my chair arrived I quickly went to watch the video and easily assembled the chair. Assembling chairs is pretty straight forward but watching the video was great.Once completed you could not tell this was not a new chair. I also liked the ¾ inch extra cushion that they add in the remanufacturing process. I think that alone is well worth it and I am glad that they do this.I usually look for chairs that I can remove the arms because I find they typically get in the way when I try to move closer to the desk. I like chair arms for arm support, but they just hinder me more than they help me, so I remove them. That is not the case with the 4D arms of this Leap V2. They go down very far and also with the ability to move them back, they do not get in the way at all. Now I can use them when I want to or tuck them away when I do not. This feature alone was well worth the upgrade to this chair. Not to mention the chair seat adjustability. I have shorter legs, so this feature is another wonderful thing about this chair.Before I ordered I did have a couple of “unusual” questions about the chair and used the Chat Feature to speak with Kim at the company. She was wonderful and I know she had to scramble around to find the answers, but she did and got me what I needed. Wonderful service from Kim and the company and that is always a great sign.Overall this has been a wonderful experience with Crandell Office and Steelcase Leap V2 remanufactured chair. If you are thinking of buying a new office/gaming chair and looking at the regular stuff, save up a little extra and visit Crandell Office. This chair really is great and you will be glad you spent a little extra to get one.

Hundreds of dollars off for refurbished chairs, with any blemishes clearly marked beforehand. Packaging was some of the best I've ever seen, the care put into it obvious. Physical instructions were also included, with a link to a video if someone prefers to just follow along with a video.Overall, extremely satisfied with my purchase and have already recommended the website to some friends and coworkers who mentioned they were looking for another chair.

Let me begin by saying that I love everything about the idea of this product. I love the concept of remanufacturing these chairs and reselling them. The chair arrived in great packaging and was undamaged. I can tell that considerable thought went into the packaging so that the chair arrived undamaged. Assembly was a breeze after scanning the QR code and watching the assembly video. The chair was assembled in about 10 minutes. I was excited to give the chair a test drive at home since I sit in this same chair at work, albeit an OEM Steelcase chair, and have for 10 years. This is why I think I'm ruined. I wanted to love this chair. I really did. I love using these chairs at work. They are so quiet, comfortable, incredibly durable, and ergonomically friendly. When I began using the chair I was hypersensitive to the differences between the remanufactured chair and the OEM Steelcase chair that I use at work. Since I'm familiar with how to adjust the chair, I adjusted it the same as I do at work. When I was adjusting it, I moved the arms and noticed that the armrest pads were warped and my arms kept slipping off. The OEM chair is less slippery and the material used keeps my arms in place. The movement of the arm rest was also loose and didn't move along with my body like the OEM chair does. When I reclined, the spring mechanism made clicking noises and wouldn't "follow" my body movement when I returned to an upright position. I tried different settings but the clicking wouldn't subside. Lastly, when I set the seat depth for my body size the seat pan would click every time I moved. After using this chair for a month, it's still comfortable and I can sit in it all day, but I don't find it to be on par with the cost. This chair still beats any of the $200.00 big box store office chairs and if this chair was at that price point, then I would be very happy with it. I think that users of OEM Steelcase Leap V2 chairs will only be happy with OEM. Anyone that hasn't tried the OEM chair will love the remanufactured chair. That being said, I respect your product and business model but I feel that I'll only be happy with an OEM chair. I'll be returning the chair and purchasing an OEM model.

I recently purchased a refurbished Steelcase 442 Gesture Chair. I ordered on a Thursday evening and the chair was delivered exactly one week later on a Thursday afternoon. It was meticulously packed, packed with a lot of care. The chair looks brand new. No evidence of wear and tear. Love the fabric color I picked and most importantly the chair is very, very comfortable. I upgraded to the roller incline wheels and they are great on my hardwood floor. I highly recommend purchasing from Crandall. Their customer service is outstanding and I love the idea of “saving a chair” from a landfill. 5 stars for Crandall!

Absolutely fabulous. Spoke with Steve Crandall who took the time to explain the differences between different quality ergonomic office chairs. Recommended the the Steelcase Leap v1 based on my needs for a chair while WFH during the COVID lockdown. Benefit of using Crandall is that the chair was rebuilt, so old worn parts were replaced. Also I was able to pick a custom fabric which looked better in my 2nd bedroom and a softer seat cushion. Delivery was quick and setup was easy because of included documentation and web support showing how the pieces fit together. Also they have a video on how to uninstall the seat, once it is installed (since that is tricky), in case you need to.

Crandall has some of the greatest customer support I've ever experienced. My leap v1 remanufactured chair arrived with a large tear in the box and some components were missing so I messaged them and within 2 days I already had all the missing components mailed to my doorstep. During my use of the chair I noticed there was a lot of squeakiness. I talked back and forth with Crandall about fixes but they offered to replace the chair entirely or give a partial refund. Great company, highly recommend.

I’ve been eyeing used Herman Miller Aeron Chairs for quite a while.
