Honestly, really nice people, but do be weary of how particular you are with "refurbished". Mine came with rust, scratches (deep scratches) and quite a bit of dust and fingerprints. I expected some scratches, these things are used of course, but I did expect deep cleaning, rusty parts replaced, etc. They did offer a return and replacement, but after about a month of waiting on the chair, it is pretty inconvenient.

I'm extremely happy with my remanufactured Steelcase Leap V2 chair from Crandall Office Furniture. It arrived on time and was very well packaged. It literally looks like a brand new chair and cost me half that of a new one from Steelcase! And it is so comfortable compare to my old cheap ergo chair. I love this chair.Also, among the few companies I checked out who remanufacture good office ergo chairs, Crandall Office Furniture appeared the most reputable to me as Steelcase even allows them to resell their returns. I purchased the Leap V2 from Crandall with the new back foam and their new 3d fabric after months of hemming, hawing and researching. Had it for over a week and I love this thing. Currently one of my prized possessions. It was well outside my imagined budget when I started looking for relief from a bout of bursitis in the shoulder which my racer style gaming chair was brutally probing but this chair is well worth the money. The 12 year warranty and other customer reviews sealed the deal. Received well packaged in amazing like new condition. The only thing I could find that may indicate that it wasn't new would be slight scuff marks on the plastic seat pan that which is completely covered. Might seem expensive but not as expensive as doctors and it has a great warranty to protect the investment.

I bought a refurbished Aeron chair from Crandall, and to be honest, the chair looks like new. Their prices and options for refurbished office furniture are both highly competitive, and packaging and shipping were both beyond my expectations. The instructions for installing the Posturefit lumbar support could have clearer, but I think I was able to figure it out. Definitely recommend Crandall for refurb office chairs.

I'm very pleased with my Steelcase Gesture with headrest, Grade A authorized factory return. I learned of Crandall Office Furniture while researching my purchase and seeing one of their YouTube videos. I knew that their videos would guide me in putting the chair together, and they did.I did have one surprise; a trim piece had to be reinstalled and I had trouble finding the video for this at first. If you call, you speak to someone who knows the chairs immediately. They started removing the trim piece because they kept breaking in shipment.

Their reconditioned chairs are fantastic, and their service is even better! I haven't been treated this kindly by a company (in any industry) in a long time. Blown away by my experience! Got a Leap V2 from Crandall, and absolutely love it. They didn't have the fabric I wanted in stock when I purchased, but were very quick to contact me, find a suitable replacement, and refund the difference. Assembly and shipping was way faster than I expected too! The Open House fabric I received has been great so far - soft, comfy, stretchy, and seems incredibly durable. Maybe in the future I'll have them re-upholster with their Bioknit stuff if I end up too hot in summer months, but very happy so far.Never thought I'd be writing a review for an office chair, but here we are. I regularly work from home, and this might be the best improvement I've made. Easily worth the premium over all the cheaper chairs I've had over the years, and it's still a bargain compared to the original price of the chair! Will be recommending Crandall to others - 11/10.

Amazing experience at Crandall Office. My chair came a whole week early! Chair felt brand new not a single blemish in sight. I think it was worth the price. I got the leap V2 and the extra cushion on the seat makes the whole chair complete. I was using a $20 chair before this and this chair got rid of the aches in my shoulder blade from the cheap chair.

Bought a chair, got a chair, chair works. Not sure if there is anymore you could ask for. The chair is great and it works just fine. Assembly was pretty easy and their instructions a nice 1 page print out. No complaints, and I would recommend their products/Services. I was a little scared thanks to social media, but David's presence on those apps convinced me you don't need to worry if you're buying from Crandall and the chair has proven that. Love it! I got a Leap v2 if anyone is interested.I will see I have seen David on Redditt answering questions and assisting potential customers while some badmouth Crandalls. I can say, this is my first experience and I plan to buy at least 1 more chair for my son, and I will gladly do that through Crandall when I'm ready. I would definitely recommend them.

Bought a grade B Steelcase authorized return (Steelcase Gesture). The chair arrived in simple, easy to take apart packaging and was exactly as advertised. Delivery was pretty fast all things considered. The website was very informative of all the details and FAQ's I had about the chair prior to buying. Ordered a replacement gas cylinder for my chair. Shipping was fast, but I ran into an issue with it slowly sinking. Sent an email and heard back from Kim the next day. I thought I might have to return it, but Kim sent a link to a video that showed how to adjust a previously unknown set screw and it was 3 minute job to get the chair working properly. Would absolutely recommend buying from Crandall. My chair is great, comfortable, and if you didn't know it was refurbished you'd never be able to tell. Top notch. David was also active and available on Reddit and helped with my research and provided recommendations. My only real gripes is that some touted products were unavailable over the months I was shopping so I couldn't get what I really wanted. I also found the time from my order to it shipping to be a bit long. But, if I am in the market for another for any reason, I will come back to Crandall.

Ordered a remanufactured leap v2. The chair squeaks a lot when the back rest moves back. Even the armpads squeaks. The support team sent a video of how to lubricate the chair. I don't have the equipment or the time to perform the required steps. I expect the chair to not squeak this much immediately after I get it. The lubrication should have been done before shipping it.

I have a bad back and sitting in chairs all day doesn't help, I tried several Big Box Office chairs and not only do they fall apart quick, they do not support my back as I need. I ordered a Steel Case Leap V2 from Crandall, the inside support people are great, and very friendly an helpful. I got the chair and it is great for my back, been in it now a couple weeks and I have had zero back issues and the chair is re-built very nicely. This is the way I will buy any future office chairs from now on, Crandall does a great job, I highly recommend! While I haven't had this very long, with a 12 year warranty, I'm not concerned about things like the cylinder and wheels falling apart like the big box store chairs, this is a Steel Case chair and Crandall uses the same specs for there parts, so I should be good until I retire. Great Job Crandall!

I purchased a Leap V2 around the beginning of December. It had a ship date of on or before 12/26/22. It ended up shipping on 12/27/22 a day late, but I got it a few days later.Shipping was top notch; the chair was like brand new. I had several issues (not with the quality of the chair or anything just issues with how to use it etc.) and questions and I emailed Crandall.Kim Koster replied back (it did take up to 48 hours usually, but that's ok) and always sent me video links and helped me out without any trouble.In the end I requested a return because the chair just wasn't working out. The return process should be easy, but I haven't completed that yet so I will update if something goes bad there.Would and WILL definitely buy from Crandall again though.

The heavy duty cylinder for my aeron classic works perfectly and their disassembly and installation guide from youtube had perfect instructions! Now all I would need is a kit for the arm pivot plastics and I would have fully restored my chair

I ordered a re-manufactured Steelcase 462 Leap V2 on 11/19/22, which was shipped by 11/30 with tracking, and arrived by 12/02. Assembly was fairly simple, and with the new upholstery and cushions it had no signs of ever being used. After about a month I can definitely say it is the most comfortable / ergonomic office chair I have ever used. I am 6'3" and the back is an appropriate height, it is supportive and adjustable in ways that cheaper chairs don't offer. Is it worth $615 I paid? Compared to the $1200 it would have cost new from the manufacturer, it's a great deal. If it lasts and helps keep my back in decent condition, then I'd say it's worth it. It included a 12 year warranty and a 2 year warranty on parts, although I am unclear on what is considered a "part". Overall, I'm pleased with the service, and the quality of the refurbish. If I ever need another office chair, I will probably check here first for a deal.

Ordered a remanufactued Steelcase Leap v2. Arrived in like new condition. Seems they replaced all the wear parts (cushions, armrests, casters) and either replaced or painted the frame parts.I am very happy with the chair and Crandall. Highly recommended.

I had an excellent experience shopping online with Crandall to buy a replacement gas cylinder for a Steelcase Think office chair. I was able to chat with a very knowledgeable person about the right part for my chair. No fault of Crandall's, the part was not available, so I provided an email for notification when it was back in stock. Well, it took 13 months for that to happen (I'd forgotten all about it), but they pinged me when the part was in stock. Shipping was quick, and the installation WOULD have been painless if I'd clicked on the Crandall installation video on YouTube, rather than a generic one. If you buy a replacement part, be sure to look for videos on the Crandall site first. I would definitely buy from them again.

I purchased the steelcase Leap chair and it is absolutely fantastic! It looks like a brand new chair. I would never know it was a refurbished. The chair is super comfortable and the assembly was not too difficult. The customer service I received from my inquiries all the way to delivery has been fantastic. Like new (and arguably better than new) Steelcase remanufactured chairs. Fantastic return policies.

Even though I returned my chair due to reasons unrelated to Crandall Office, I would absolutely do business with them in the future.

They also sold great replacement Aeron chair parts, all three of my part purchases were high quality and made it super quickly to my door.

I placed an order over the phone for replacement back and seat for my Steelcase Leap chair V1. The woman who I spoke with was just an order taker and did not advise me that my choice for chair back was not good for that model. I got the items. The seat back had no support and was too stretchy. I felt like I was sitting against cables. When I called to report my dissatisfaction, I was just told no returns, no refunds. A big thumbs down for Crandall 😡

Outstanding customer service. Asked if the part I identified was the right one for my specific chair, and they didn't simply confirm that it was, they also suggested some adjustments to try to confirm whether the part actually needed to be replaced. Incredibly honest and helpful!

The added personal note on the Crandall notepad showed you actually read the note I had added for my wife, you took a minute to hand write your own based on what I wrote - THAT'S going above and beyond!! A few years back I purchased a refurbished Steelcase Leap chair but from another company and I had only a few options of chair to choose from which was not a big deal since I wanted black. When I received it, it looked very nice, but the chair had a few signs of previous use - which was not a surprise since it was refurbished. However, this chair looks brand new and I/we (we because I sneakily asked color, fabric, and frame color options) got to choose from SO MANY options AND upgraded options (like the back and seat pad), that's awesome! It was like picking out a brand new chair and for 1/2 the price! The remanufacturing and shipping was very fast as well, I ordered Aug. 24 and it was delivered Sep. 2! I will certainly tell everyone I know who is looking for a new office chair to shop at crandalloffice.com. Fantastic customer service, I am shocked! I sent an email asking if they were able to sell me a replacement part for a Herman Miller I’d bought on Craigslist. Kim was thorough in helping me diagnose what I needed and offered to send me something to try first prior to making a large purchase for a part.
I really appreciate when companies don’t take advantage of customers asking questions/not knowing how to repair things. I hope to purchase a chair from Crandall in the next few months to say thanks!

I recently purchased a refurbished Steelcase 442 Gesture Chair. I ordered on a Thursday evening and the chair was delivered exactly one week later on a Thursday afternoon. It was meticulously packed, packed with a lot of care. The chair looks brand new. No evidence of wear and tear. Love the fabric color I picked and most importantly the chair is very, very comfortable. I upgraded to the roller incline wheels and they are great on my hardwood floor. I highly recommend purchasing from Crandall. Their customer service is outstanding and I love the idea of “saving a chair” from a landfill. 5 stars for Crandall!

Absolutely fabulous. Spoke with Steve Crandall who took the time to explain the differences between different quality ergonomic office chairs. Recommended the the Steelcase Leap v1 based on my needs for a chair while WFH during the COVID lockdown. Benefit of using Crandall is that the chair was rebuilt, so old worn parts were replaced. Also I was able to pick a custom fabric which looked better in my 2nd bedroom and a softer seat cushion. Delivery was quick and setup was easy because of included documentation and web support showing how the pieces fit together. Also they have a video on how to uninstall the seat, once it is installed (since that is tricky), in case you need to.

Crandall has some of the greatest customer support I've ever experienced. My leap v1 remanufactured chair arrived with a large tear in the box and some components were missing so I messaged them and within 2 days I already had all the missing components mailed to my doorstep. During my use of the chair I noticed there was a lot of squeakiness. I talked back and forth with Crandall about fixes but they offered to replace the chair entirely or give a partial refund. Great company, highly recommend.

I’ve been eyeing used Herman Miller Aeron Chairs for quite a while. I was looking for local sources in San Jose, but, found Crandall during my online search; the chair was refurbished as well as very competitive prices. The chair arrived and it looks like new!
