Each chair is torn down to it’s frame, given a complete tune-up. Any parts that need to be fixed or replaced are fixed, and then new casters, new gas cylinder, new (made in USA) arm pads, new lumbar pad (Size B Chairs Only), new front seat foam pad (Size B Chairs Only) are installed.
Please note these are used chairs, and may come with some minor dings and scratches. We do everything we can to make them like-new, but some small scratches and scuffs (nothing significant) are to be expected.
Size A is the small size, made for children and smaller people. Size B is the regular size, made to fit most adults. Size C is the large or plus sized version of the Aeron chair.

Fixed Arms Option – What You Need to Know:
We are now offering fixed arm Aeron chairs at a discounted price.
Fixed arm Aerons do not have a height adjustment lever or wheel to change the arm height quickly and easily, however the arm height can be set to any height you desire. If you do not change the height of your chair arms often, this can be a great option.
Chairs will ship at the standard mid-height, but if you find this setting too low, prior to installing the back, you can loosen the arms (the proper bit will be included with every fixed arm chair), slide to re-position, and tighten the arms to whatever height works best for you.

What Size Aeron Do You Need?
The Herman Miller Aeron chair comes in 3 different sizes. Size A, size B, and size C. Size A is the smallest of the bunch, size B is the standard size chair, and the size C is the plus size model. Which size is right for you?

While this is nothing definitive, it should be a good place to start. Refurbished Herman Miller Aeron Caster Options:
Every chair gets brand new casters included – we offer several different sizes and options to choose from.
65mm Carpet casters are best for low-pile or dense carpeted floors. For medium, or longer residential carpets, we recommend 75mm Oversized Carpet Casters to help prevent the bottom of the gas cylinder from dragging on the floor.
Hard floor casters have a soft coating on them, helping them roll smoother and quieter on hard surfaces. This coating also helps protect the flooring from damage. Hard floor casters can also be used on carpeted floors.
We recommend hard floor casters for the following floors:
- Wood / Hardwood Floors
- Concrete / Epoxy
- Laminate
- Tile
- Chair Floor Mats
Oversized (75mm) casters are larger and offer a smoother rolling experience, and also raise the chair up about ~1/2″.
Roller Blade casters offer the smoothest and quietest rolling experience of all, and work great on both carpet or hard floors. Their soft surface also helps protect floors the same as the standard twin-wheel hard floor casters.

Refurbished Herman Miller Aeron 12 Year Warranty:
All of our refurbished Herman Miller Aeron chairs are covered by our 12 year warranty under normal usage. All working components are warranted for 12 years against manufacturing defects in material and workmanship. Gas cylinders are covered for 6 years. In the event of a failure, Crandall Office Furniture will send replacement parts with installation instructions – installation labor costs are not covered. In the event of a failure beyond repair, a replacement chair will be sent. This warranty is good up to the stated manufacturer’s weight limits / capacity, which is 300lbs for the Herman Miller Aeron Size A Chair, and 350lbs for the Herman Miller Aeron Size B & C Chairs.
Warranty is null and void if the product is subject to negligence, abuse, misuse, or modification. Warranty only applies to the product; Crandall Office Furniture is not responsible in any way for loss, inconvenience, or any other special damages caused by any defect.
Refurbished Herman Miller Aeron Return Policy:
We are confident you will love your chair, but if for any reason you don’t, contact us for a no-hassle free return within 30 days of receiving your chair. We’ll send you a return shipping label and refund your entire purchase price once the chair has been received and inspected.
Returned chairs must be in the same condition as received and returned in the original box. (please keep the box until you’re 100% sure you’re keeping the chair).
Custom fabric chairs, or chairs with significant visible wear or damage, will incur a 15% restocking fee.
Shipping & Assembly:
All of our Crandall Office Furniture Refurbished Herman Miller Aeron chairs ship partially dissembled to keep shipping costs as low as possible. Assembly of your Aeron chair is quick and easy, and only requires installing 4 bolts – Proper bit will be supplied.

All products ship via UPS Ground from our Greenville, Michigan facility, transit times will vary depending on ship-to location.

Candall Office Furniture Herman Miller Aeron Chair Review
I’ve had my Herman Miller Aeron Chair for a little over two weeks and I wanted to give you my opinion so far. The chair was initially uncomfortable to me and I thought of returning it. But, after sitting in for several days, the chair is comfortable to me now. Don’t know if I had to get adjusted to the chair or the chair had to get adjusted to me.
The chair I received appears to be excellent condition. I noticed only one or two small finish imperfections, nothing I cannot live with, (and I am pretty picky about my stuff). Very happy with the cosmetics of my chair. Shipping was prompt, I received my chair in about ten days from the date I ordered. The chair was well packed and there was no shipping damage.
I chose a size B chair with the forward tilt/tilt limiter, adjustable armrests with pivot, Infinity 65mm Self-Braking Casters and the Posture Fit lumbar support. Essentially a fully loaded chair. The Posture Fit lumber was real pain to install. The Crandall installation videos don’t show the difficulty of this installation. I had to enlist the help of my wife to install. It took us about twenty minutes of trial and error before success. The Posture Fit provides the back support I need and is worth the extra cost, in my opinion. I wish installation was as easy as the video, something to keep in mind. I would rank the other options in order of importance to me, as follows: tilt limiter, adjustable pivoting armrests and Infinity Self-Braking Casters. The forward tilt feature I find is not useful for me, so I leave the chair in the upright position.
I had an issue with the front seat pad falling out after about four day’s use. I called Candall and Kim sent me a larger strip of double-sided tape to reinstall the front seat pad. I received the tape in about three business days. Installation was easy, and so far, so good. So high marks for prompt customer service response and resolution to my issue.
Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase from Crandall Office Furniture, quality product, great pricing compared to a new equivalent chair and responsive customer service. I highly recommend Crandall Office Furniture and the Herman Miller Aeron Chair.
