Crandall Office Furniture’s Haworth Improv (02-Present) aftermarket stool gas cylinders have been constructed to meet original OEM chair specifications and are built to last.
A office chair gas cylinder is the height adjustment mechanism on the chair. The typical life span of a office chair gas cylinder is 4-7 years, depending on use and abuse. If failed, your chair will be left with limited or no height adjustment, however you can quickly and easily replace your broken Haworth Improv (02-Present) stool gas cylinder today.
Our Haworth Improv (02-Present) gas cylinders are made to fit all Haworth Improv chairs manufactured after May 1, 2002.
This cylinder can successfully be used on a standard Haworth Improv (02-Present) chair, to convert it to stool height, standing desk, sit-to-stand desk, or bar height. Also available is our full stool conversion kit (including foot ring) for the Haworth Improv (02-Present) chair.
If looking for a standard stool height, please consider the 8″ stool cylinder, the 10″ cylinder provides a significant increase in sitting height of the chair, and should only be considered if the 8″ stool cylinder does not reach high enough.
